France and Morocco wish to strengthen academic cooperation in connection with industry in France and Morocco. Following the joint declaration signed on May 28, 2015 between the Ministers for Research, an agreement was signed on April 21, 2016 establishing the program “PhD Cifre / France-Morocco”.
The “PhD Cifre / France-Morocco” allows Moroccan students to prepare their PhD in France and Morocco in the frame work of a partnership between two academic laboratories, one French, one Moroccan, and a company based in France.
The program aims to give more Moroccan PhD students an experience of collaborative research between academia and industry. After the PhD Cifre / France-Morocco, these doctors intend to start their careers in Morocco.
France and Morocco co-fund the program.
