Objectives<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This team entered in the LIRIMA in January 2016. The project consolidates the existing collaborations between these two Laboratories\u00a0<\/span>(cf. the LIRIMA research team MASECNeSS from 2010 to 2015).<\/span><\/h5>\n

\"iot4d\"<\/a>The Internet of Things for\u00a0developing countries (DC) research team (IoT4D) works on the integration of\u00a0emerging technologies with footprint process in African countries. With the increasing demand for connected objects,\u00a0researches\u00a0have made\u00a0great\u00a0advances\u00a0and technologies\u00a0are now mature and ready for the real\u00a0world use.\u00a0Helpful applications\u00a0as environment or healthcare monitoring,\u00a0smart cities\u00a0are now\u00a0recognized as\u00a0means to allow people and\u00a0nature to live in a more\u00a0secure world. The DC environment is\u00a0by itself a research\u00a0challenge for connected objects.<\/h4>\n

High\u00a0temperature\u00a0or\u00a0humidity,\u00a0lack\u00a0of\u00a0high\u00a0speed communication network\u00a0access,\u00a0for\u00a0example, does\u00a0not\u00a0alleviate\u00a0the deployment of\u00a0 a wireless sensor\u00a0networks in the city\u00a0or country-wide.<\/h4>\n
